In the first few seconds of the film, we see a black screen flashing title sequences as Motivating atmospheric sound is playing. The screen fades to a establishing shot of the city skyline. We then get an insert shot of a helicopter is flying into the massive city. The scene and the narrator speaking implies that whoever is in the helicopter is important. It then cuts to different angles of the helicopter flying over the city. As the helicopter lands we get close ups of the actors shoes and get insert shots of his expensive jewelry. The narrator explains to us how "god like" this man is and we get numerous shots of him putting on his suit, fixing his rings and belt building up the suspense. We then finally see a over the shoulder shot of him admiring himself in the mirror saying, "I look good." Then to imply the sense of humor and the hint of idiocy to the character he shouts to everyone to come see how good he looks. We then get multiple mid shot scenes of him at his newsroom desk getting ready for the news but in very humorous ways such as making extremely weird/ awkward noises. picking his teeth, etc. To finish the sequence, we get to watch the opening of the the news cast. It announces all the main anchors cutting from person to person, then finally their is a wide shot of all the anchors walking together but the main one talked about throughout the intro is walking in the middle and in front of everyone implying that he is the man, we still haven't heard his name however. Finally we get a mid shot from behind of him sitting at his desk and say, "Goodmorning everyone, I'm Ron Burgandy."

Film - Genre Research - Step Brothers

The first the we see is a motivational family quote saying, "Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take to dream." This makes us think that its going to be a kind-hearted family film as the quote fades to black. The credits started rolling against a back screen and we hear atmospheric sounds which sounds to be some sort of bag making us wonder what the person is doing. We see two grown men (Will Ferrell) and (John Reilly) doing normal things such as making snacks as kiddish music is playing. We learn about the two opposite households and we learn the two characters personality's. We then see them act more like teenagers in their pajamas, we also learn that they live with their mom & dad which makes the situation all the more humorous. We continue to see how these 40-ish year old men live at home and act exactly like teens, cutting from activity to activity. We watch as their parents fall in love with one another. This implies that the two men are about to become step brothers and we get to watch as they learn to deal with one another. Finally we get a wide shot of the two brothers staring at each other saying, "You can call me dragon" and "You can call me night hawk" and we get this sense that there's going to be some very humorous conflict between them.

Film - Genre Research - ZombieLand

Within the 5 minutes of the entire title sequence in the comedy film, Zombieland, a lot of the story-line, theme, and atmosphere of the film is presented. The first scenes we hear the actor, Jesse Elsenberg's  voice as he narrates what we're seeing on film. He starts by talking about the current situation (Zombie Apocalypse) as we see an camera movement technique, known as handheld, trying to resemble the view of a U.S Citizen as he runs away from a zombie trying to eat him. As he looks around we hear the noises of car sirens, fire, panic.. All noises that we contribute to the "End of The World Scenario." We also seen destroyed buildings, destroyed cars and the zombies that have skin dangling off their face with torn clothes and a dead appearance. He continues to explain how he's stayed alive this long while everyone around him becomes infected, although the theme of the film is a massive topic in the horror genre, Jesse Elsneberg makes the situation humorous. The screen fades to black as up beating rock music is played, we then watch very funny zombie encounters as it fades from slide to slide. In the first few minutes we see how America is devastated by the zombie apocalypse but instead of taking it in a serious and fearful manner we see that it's going to be a very funny and humorous film.
