Audience Media Research - Step Brothers

Step Brother was a movie directed by Adam Mckay and stared Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. Their budget for the movie was $65 million.

Poster: There was only one poster made for the movie because the movie isn't a high-tier action film. They target a specific audience by doing this, the poster shows just them in a family style photograph which makes the viewer assume that the conflict of the film is taken place between them.

Trailers: The first trailer was released on March 14, 2008. The trailer sets the tone of the movie by showing the two brothers facing off by staring at each other. Their relationship is further defined as the two physically attack each other which all shows Will Ferrell's character burring Reilly's alive.
